Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema generador de aerosol operado eléctricamente para recibir un sustrato líquido formador de aerosol, donde el sistema comprende una porción de almacenamiento de líquido para almacenar el sustrato líquido formador de aerosol, un calentador eléctrico que comprende al menos un elemento de calentamiento para calentar el sustrato líquido formador de aerosol, y un circuito eléctrico configurado para autoactivar el calentador eléctrico en un momento particular para una duración de autoactivación en un período de inactividad del calentador eléctrico con el fin de determinar el agotamiento del sustrato líquido formador de aerosol en función de una relación entre una energía aplicada al elemento de calentamiento y un cambio de temperatura resultante del elemento de calentamiento. La presente invención se refiere adicionalmente a un método para autoactivar el calentador eléctrico en un momento en particular para una duración de autoactivación en un período de inactividad del calentador eléctrico y determinar el agotamiento del sustrato líquido formador de aerosol calentado por el calentador eléctrico en función de una relación entre una energía aplicada al elemento de calentamiento y un cambio de temperatura resultante del elemento de calentamiento. La presente invención se refiere adicionalmente a un circuito eléctrico que se dispone para llevar a cabo el método y un medio de almacenamiento legible por computadora.
