Abstract

Un dispensador no aspirante que contiene un gel en el mismo para su suministro a una superficie deseada tal como un artículo médico. Más específicamente, un gel que se dispensa en forma de gotitas que están libres de aire o un gas en el mismo y con un potencial de acarreamiento reducido. El dispensador tiene un contenedor que tiene una bolsa flexible en su interior que incluye un gel tixotrópico, y tiene un gas presurizado que es capaz de ejercer presión sobre la bolsa y expulsar el gel de dicha bolsa en una corriente constante al presionar un accionador que está conectado operativamente a una válvula de eyección. La bolsa está libre de propelentes y no produce un aerosol. El gel es tixotrópico y se utiliza para mantener húmedos los instrumentos médicos con el fin de evitar que se sequen los materiales de residuo presentes en ellos, lo que puede hacer que el reprocesamiento de instrumentos médicos sea más difícil y menos efectivo.
