Abstract
Un dispositivo médico inalámbrico incluye al menos un sensor fisiológico configurado para medir un signo vital o dato de parámetros fisiológicos, y un transceptor inalámbrico. Al menos un procesador (22, 24, 34) está programado para: construir un flujo de datos que comprende una secuencia de paquetes de datos, en donde los paquetes de datos contienen datos de parámetros fisiológicos adquiridos por el al menos un sensor fisiológico; operar el transceptor inalámbrico para transmitir el flujo de datos a una estación de monitoreo asociada, a través de un canal de comunicación inalámbrico; recibir un informe de falta de datos de la estación de monitoreo asociada que identifique al menos la falta de un paquete de datos del flujo de datos, que no fue recibido en la estación de monitoreo asociada; y retransmitir el al menos uno de los paquetes de datos faltantes identificados por el informe de falta de datos a la estación de monitoreo asociada a través del canal de comunicación inalámbrico.
