Abstract
Un método de soldadura por puntos de resistencia con el cual se puede formar una junta soldada que tiene propiedades anti-fractura retardada, en donde el método está provisto de un paso para proveer energía a través de una corriente de energización I1 (kA) mientras se aplica una presión de soldadura P1 (kN) a una pluralidad de láminas de acero usando un electrodo de soldadura, un paso para proveer energización a través de una corriente de energización Ic (kA) durante un período de tiempo de enfriamiento tc (s) mientras se aplica la presión de soldadura P1, un paso para impartir una presión de soldadura P2 (kN) en la pluralidad de láminas de acero usando el electrodo de soldadura durante un período de tiempo de soldadura tf (s) mientras se energiza el electrodo de soldadura con una corriente de conducción I2 (kA) e inmediatamente después elevar y disminuir la presión de soldadura en dos o más ciclos en los cuales una presión de soldadura P3 (kN) se aplica durante un período de tiempo de presión de soldadura ti (s), un paso para aplicar la presión de soldadura P2 durante el período de tiempo de presión de soldadura tf y un paso para liberar la presión de soldadura y terminar la energización, los pasos siendo provistos en el orden indicado, 0 = Ic < I1, 0.3 = I2/I1 < 1.0, P2/P1 = 1.2, tf = 0.2, P3 < P2 y ti = 0.2.
