Abstract
Se proporciona un método de detección de espacio de estacionamiento para detectar un espacio de estacionamiento en un estado vacío a partir de una imagen capturada adquirida por una cámara (1) configurada para capturar una imagen de una zona de estacionamiento. El método incluye detectar un vehículo estacionado que existe en un espacio (PL3) de estacionamiento en el lado lejano a partir del vehículo (V) en cuestión y adyacente a un espacio (PL2) de estacionamiento objetivo de determinación para el cual se determina el estado vacío y medir una longitud lateral del vehículo estacionado en una superficie localizada en el lado del espacio (PL2) de estacionamiento objetivo de determinación. Cuando la longitud lateral es un valor predeterminado o más, el espacio (PL2) de estacionamiento objetivo de determinación se detecta como un espacio de estacionamiento en el estado vacío.
