Abstract

Provided is a hot press member having a first region that exhibits a tensile strength TS of 1,500 MPa or higher and a uniform elongation uEL of 6.0% or higher as tension properties, and a second region that exhibits a tensile strength TS of 780 MPa or higher and a uniform elongation uEL of 15.0% or higher as tension properties. This hot press member is characterized by having: a first region exhibiting a dislocation density of 1.0x1016 m2 or higher, and having a structure that contains a prescribed component composition (specifically, a low C content of at least 0.090% and less than 0.30%, and a high Mn content of at least 3.5% and less than 11.0%), a martensitic phase comprising 80.0 vol% or more, and a retained austenitic phase comprising 3.0-20.0 vol%, inclusive; and a second region having a structure that contains a ferrite phase comprising 30.0-60.0 vol%, inclusive, a retained austenitic phase comprising 10.0-70.0 vol%, inclusive, and a martensitic phase comprising 30.0 vol% or less.
