Abstract

Un aparato, sistema y método permiten el control del flujo de fluidos en tren de tuberí­a o de tuberí­a de revestimiento. El aparato comprende una varilla propulsora con una perforación interna que comprende por lo menos un piloto, en donde el asiento entre la varilla propulsora y el interior del tubular impide el flujo de fluidos. Los cambios de presión en la varilla propulsora rotan la perforación de la bola hacia el contacto y hacia fuera del contacto con la perforación de la varilla propulsora, para permitir o impedir el flujo de fluidos, respectivamente. Un método de uso abre la bola ejerciendo presión sobre la varilla propulsora para permitir el flujo y detiene el flujo a travós de la presión ejercida sobre la parte inferior de la bola, lo cual hace que la bola rote la superficie exterior hacia la perforación interna de la varilla propulsora. Un acumulador puede controlar el funcionamiento de la válvula ejerciendo selectivamente la presión del fluido sobre la varilla propulsora.
