Abstract

Se describen sistemas y métodos a modo de ejemplo para detectar un animal próximo a un vehículo. En una implementación, un dispositivo portable por un animal se activa cuando el dispositivo portable está dentro de una distancia predeterminada de un vehículo. El vehículo recibe una señal proveniente del dispositivo portable y determina una distancia aproximada entre el dispositivo portable y el vehículo. Se genera una alerta para advertir a un conductor que un animal está cerca del vehículo. La alerta tiene un nivel de intensidad que corresponde a una distancia aproximada entre el dispositivo portable y el vehículo.
