Abstract

Un método para recuperar zinc de una solución de zinc acuosa amoniacal de carbonato de amonio, en donde el método comprende las etapas de: Poner en contacto la solución de zinc acuosa amoniacal de carbonato de amonio con una solución orgánica de un extractante de zinc, de modo que una parte del zinc se transfiera de la solución de zinc acuosa amoniacal de carbonato de amonio, lo que produce una solución reducida en zinc acuosa amoniacal de carbonato de amonio y una solución orgánica enriquecida en zinc de un extractante de zinc; Separar la solución orgánica enriquecida en zinc de un extractante de zinc de la solución reducida en zinc acuosa amoniacal de carbonato de amonio; Poner en contacto la solución orgánica enriquecida en zinc con una solución acuosa ácida, lo que produce una solución acuosa ácida enriquecida en zinc y una solución orgánica reducida en zinc de un extractante de zinc; y Recuperar el zinc de la solución acuosa ácida enriquecida en zinc.
