Abstract
Se ha descubierto que las plantas que comprenden la proteína CENPC modificada que comprende una o más mutaciones activas que afectan el funcionamiento de la proteína CENPC, pero que aún permiten que las plantas que expresan dicha proteína CENPC modificada sean viables, son capaces de inducir una descendencia haploide después de una cruza a o con una planta de tipo silvestre que comprende una proteína CENPC endógena. La invención se refiere a la generación de plantas haploides y doble haploides.
