Abstract
Se describe un método y aparato para acceso aleatorio simultáneo multiusuario para redes de área local inalámbricas (WLAN). El método, implementado en una unidad inalámbrica de transmisi6n/recepción (WTRU), incluye detectar una trama de activación para la transmisión de enlace ascendente (UL) multiusuario (MU). La trama de activación incluye una asignación de unidades de recursos (RU) para acceso aleatorio en próximas unidades de datos de protocolo (PPDU) UL MU con protocolo de convergencia de datos en paquetes (PDCP) y una indicación de que la trama de activación es una de una pluralidad de tramas de activación en una secuencia en cascada de tramas de activación en una oportunidad de transmisión (Tx0P) MU. El método incluye, además, seleccionar una de las RU en la asignación de RU para una transmisión de acceso aleatorio y enviar la transmisión de acceso aleatorio sobre la RU seleccionada.
