Abstract
Se divulga la presente invención que proporciona un sistema de almacenamiento de energía que utiliza baterías de múltiples composiciones y proporciona distribución de carga mejorada entre los diferentes tipos de baterías. El sistema de almacenamiento de energía incluye al menos dos baterías, donde cada batería tiene una composición química diferente para el almacenamiento de energía. Una batería se configura para la carga/descarga rápida y la otra batería se configura para carga/descarga más lenta. Cada batería se conecta a una conexión común por medio de un regulador de energía. Los reguladores se configuran inicialmente de manera que el regulador de energía conectado entre la conexión común y la batería configurada para la carga/descarga rápida responde inicialmente a los cambios en la demanda de potencia en la conexión común. Si la demanda de potencia continúa, el primer regulador disminuye la cantidad de energía transferida entre la primera batería y la conexión común mientras que el segundo regulador inicia la transferencia de energía entre la segunda batería y la conexión común.
