Abstract
Un sistema para simular sistemas eléctricos de una locomotora de diésel-eléctrica que comprende un primer motor eléctrico para simular un motor diésel de locomotora y un generador acoplado con el motor eléctrico para simular un generador principal de locomotora en un modo de operación de generador principal. Un segundo motor eléctrico es accionado por una salida eléctrica del generador en el modo de operación de generador principal y simula un motor de tracción de locomotora. Un tercer motor eléctrico está acoplado con un segundo motor eléctrico y opera como un generador para proporcionar una carga en el segundo motor eléctrico durante las operaciones de motor de locomotora simuladas.
