Abstract
Un método para operar un sistema de perforación, el sistema de perforación comprende: una sarta de perforación que se extiende dentro de un pozo, un impulsor que opera para rotar la sarta de perforación, una bomba que opera para bombear fluido de perforación hacia la sarta de perforación, una cabeza de pozo montada en la parte superior del pozo, un tubo de subida que se extiende hacia arriba desde la cabeza de pozo alrededor de la sarta de perforación, un preventor de reventones el cual es montado sobre la cabeza de pozo y que opera para cerrarse alrededor de la sarta de perforación para evitar sustancialmente el flujo de fluido desde el espacio anular alrededor de la sarta de perforación en el pozo dentro del espacio anular alrededor de la sarta de perforación en el tubo de subida (el anillo de tubo de subida), el BOP teniendo un elemento de sellado que se acopla con la sarta de perforación cuando el BOP es operado para cerrarse alrededor de la sarta de perforación, un dispositivo de cierre de tubo de subida que está montado en el tubo de subida y que opera para cerrarse alrededor de la sarta de perforación para evitar substancialmente el flujo de fluido a lo largo del anillo de tubo de subida, un conducto de retorno, una salida de flujo que es proporcionada en el tubo de subida por debajo del dispositivo de cierre de tubo de subida y que conecta el anillo de tubo de subida al conducto de retorno, en donde el método comprende los pasos de, después de determinar que hay o puede haber la necesidad de cerrar el BOP, implementar un procedimiento de control que comprende los siguientes pasos: a) operar el impulsor para detener la rotación de la sarta de perforación, b) cerrar el dispositivo de cierre de tubo de subida (en caso que no esté cerrado todavía), c) operar la bomba para detener el bombeo de lodo dentro de la sarta de perforación, d) cerrar el preventor de reventones, caracterizado porque el método además incluye el paso de e) incrementar la presión del pozo controlando la velocidad del flujo de fluido a lo largo del conducto de retorno.
