Abstract

Un método para la validación mejorada de criptogramas de longitudes variables de número de cuenta incluye: almacenar uno o más números primarios de cuenta y una pluralidad de modelos de formateo, cada modelo está asociado con una longitud de número de cuenta; recibir una selección que indica un número primario específico de cuenta; identificar un modelo específico de formateo en donde la longitud asociada de número de cuenta corresponde con la longitud del número primario específico de cuenta; recibir un número impredecible de un dispositivo de punto de venta; generar un criptograma basado en al menos el número impredecible y uno o más algoritmos; generar una secuencia de datos, en donde la secuencia de datos incluye al menos el criptograma generado, el número primario específico de cuenta y el número impredecible y en donde la secuencia de datos es formateada basada en el modelo específico identificado de formateo; y transmitir, de manera electrónica, la secuencia generada de datos al dispositivo de punto de venta.
