Abstract
Se puede recuperar monoetilenglicol (MEG) a través de un proceso que incluye poner en contacto una corriente de MEG-agua-sal con un fluido de transferencia de calor, y luego separar de forma instantánea el MEG y el agua en el recipiente separador instantáneo, donde la presión es superior a 0.3 barA (0.03 MPa), la temperatura se encuentra en el intervalo de entre más de 120 °C y aproximadamente 250 °C, y el período de permanencia del MEG y el agua oscila entre aproximadamente 1 segundo y aproximadamente 10 minutos, y luego extraer el MEG y el agua en la parte superior del recipiente separador instantáneo y extraer la sal del recipiente separador instantáneo. En algunas modalidades, se espera que la temperatura del proceso pueda oscilar entre más de 165 °C y aproximadamente 250 °C, y/o que la presión pueda ser presión atmosférica.
