Abstract
La invención se refiere a composiciones y métodos para la fabricación de forma libre sólida de dispositivos, componentes y aplicaciones médicas en las que la composición incluye un poliuretano termoplástico que es particularmente adecuado para dicho procesamiento. Los poliuretanos termoplásticos útiles se obtienen de (a) un componente de diisocianato aromático, (b) un componente de poliol y (c) un componente prolongador de cadena donde la relación molar de (c) a (b) es al menos 4,25.
