Abstract

Se describe un sistema y mensaje de alerta. La invención emplea un mensaje de alerta, que dirige a usuarios finales para tomar algunas acciones particulares como evacuar un área geográfica identificada. La invención emplea además un mensaje de área geográfica, que se basa en un área geográfica particular dentro de la cual todas las personas deben recibir el mensaje de alerta. La invención utiliza un dispositivo compatible con alertas que recibe tanto el mensaje de alerta como el mensaje de área geográfica. El dispositivo compatible con alertas determina si está ubicado dentro del área geográfica de interés, y si es así, presenta el mensaje de alerta al usuario final.
