Abstract
Se provee un dispositivo de unión mecánica que permite reducir el daño a la periferia, incluyendo el remache, de una unión unida obtenida mediante unión con remaches. Este dispositivo de unión mecánica para impulsar un remache en múltiples placas de metal por medio de un punzón está provisto de un punzón y matriz, una prensa de placas, un primer dispositivo de fuente de alimentación, un segundo dispositivo de fuente de alimentación y un dispositivo de enfriamiento. El primer dispositivo de fuente de alimentación electrifica la prensa de placas y la matriz para elevar la temperatura de las múltiples placas de metal antes de impulsar un remache por medio del punzón; el segundo dispositivo de fuente de alimentación electrifica el punzón y la matriz para electrificar y tratar con calor el remache después de impulsar el remache por medio del punzón; y el dispositivo de enfriamiento está conectado al punzón y enfría el remache después de que el remache ha sido tratado con calor.
