Abstract

La invención se refiere a un freno de disco para un vehículo utilitario, con una pinza de freno (1) que solapa el disco de freno (2) y se diseña como una pinza corrediza la cual fija a un soporte de freno estacionario (3), con dos forros de freno (4) que se disponen en la pinza de freno (1) y se mueven en contrasentido, teniendo cada uno una placa de soporte de forro (5) y un revestimiento de fricción (6) fijo en la placa de soporte de forro, siendo que mediante un dispositivo de aplicación un forro de freno del lado de acción se puede apretar contra el disco de freno (2) por medio de al menos un pistón de freno, y con al menos un dispositivo de reposición (7), por medio del cual la pinza de freno (1) se puede restablecer después de un desplazamiento por frenado y de soltar el freno. Este freno de disco se diseña de manera que el dispositivo de reposición (7) tiene al menos dos barras que están en contacto con los forros de freno bajo carga de resorte en contra de las respectivas direcciones de aplicación de los forros de freno, siendo que de estas barras una se diseña como barra de tracción (9) y la otra se diseña como barra de empuje (10).
