Abstract

La presente descripción se relaciona, de acuerdo con algunas modalidades, con métodos y sistemas para obtener productos de absorción de olores y humedad a partir de un microcultivo (por ejemplo, de especies acuáticas fotosintéticas). Más específicamente, la presente descripción se relaciona con, en algunas modalidades, conformar un producto absorbente a partir de Lemna, incluyendo arena para animales, un lecho para animales, un producto para pañales, un producto de limpieza de derrames y cualquier combinación de los mismos. Un proceso para conformar un producto absorbente de un microcultivo puede comprender las acciones de (a) lisar el microcultivo para generar un microcultivo lisado; (b) separar el microcultivo lisado en una fracción sólida y una fracción de jugo; (c) procesar la fracción sólida para generar un sólido absorbente; y/o (d) conformar, por una unidad de formación, el sólido absorbente en pellas o gránulos que pueden incorporarse en el producto absorbente.
