Abstract

Un dispositivo óptico, preferentemente un dispositivo de seguridad para un documento de seguridad, que incluye: un sustrato transparente o translúcido con un primer lado y un segundo lado; una primera capa de ilustración ubicada en el primer lado del sustrato que define una primera ilustración y una primera capa de enmascaramiento, que comprende una primera tinta ópticamente variable, y una segunda capa de enmascaramiento que comprende una tinta ópticamente variable, ubicada al menos parcialmente superponiéndose con la primera capa de ilustración, donde la primera ilustración es al menos sustancialmente opaca y tiene un bajo contraste respecto de la apariencia de la primera y segunda capas de enmascaramiento al visualizarse en reflexión, de manera que primera ilustración sea identificable y sustancialmente más visible al visualizarse en transmisión que al visualizarse en reflexión y un método para su fabricación.
