Abstract

Mejoras en una celda de protección craneal, formada por un caparazón externo (11, 20) revestido internamente por material absorbente (12, 12´), el material comprende una primera capa (21) inmediatamente debajo del caparazón, de espuma de celda cerrada, rígida o semirrígida en contacto con una segunda capa (22) de espuma viscoelástica de celda abierta, la interfaz entre dichas primera y segunda capas ha sido provista con intedigitaciones que comprenden cavidades (24) en dicha primera capa en las cuales se acoplan de forma complementaria y cooperativa las protuberancias (23) incorporadas en la segunda capa. También se proporciona material de soporte absorbente en la región de la mandíbula (32), en las regiones maxilares (33, 34) y en las regiones mastoideas. Cuando se cierra, el visor (37) se inserta en la abertura correspondiente de la celda de protección craneal, y su apertura se produce en dos pasos, el primero comprende un movimiento hacia delante y el posterior, un giro hacia arriba. La celda de protección craneal (CPC) comprende además una protección de mentón extraíble (54) cuyo mecanismo de desbloqueo se acciona por los botones (51) situados a cada lado del caparazón.
