Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones a base de polietileno que pueden ser usadas, por ejemplo, en la formación de capas de película. En un aspecto, una composición comprende (a) un primer polietileno de baja densidad lineal que tiene una densidad de 0.900 hasta 0.915 g/cm3 y un índice de fusión (I2) de 5.0 hasta 25 g/10 min, en donde el polietileno de baja densidad lineal es una mezcla de al menos dos componentes: (i) 20-40% en peso de un segundo polietileno de baja densidad lineal, en donde el segundo polietileno de baja densidad lineal es un interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina homogéneamente ramificado que tiene una densidad de 0.870-0.895 g/cm3 y un índice de fusión (I2) de 2.0-6.0 g/10 min; y (ii) 60-80% en peso de un tercer polietileno de baja densidad lineal, en donde la densidad del tercer polietileno de baja densidad lineal es al menos 0.02 g/cm3 mayor que la densidad del segundo polietileno de baja densidad lineal y en donde el índice de fusión (I2) del tercer polietileno de baja densidad lineal es al menos dos veces el índice de fusión (I2) del segundo polietileno de baja densidad lineal.
