Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con una barrera anular para expandirse en un espacio anular entre una estructura tubular de pozo y una pared de un barreno de fondo de perforación para proporcionar un aislamiento de zona entre una primera zona que tiene una primera presión y una segunda zona, la barrera anular comprende una parte tubular metálica para montarse como parte de la estructura tubular de pozo, la parte tubular metálica tiene una primera abertura de expansión, una extensión axial y una cara externa, una manga expansible que rodea a la parte tubular metálica y que tiene una cara interna orientada hacia la parte tubular metálica y una cara externa orientada hacia la pared del barreno, cada extremo de la manga expansible se conecta con la parte tubular metálica, y un espacio anular entre la cara interna de la manga expansible y la parte tubular metálica, el espacio anular tiene una presión espacial, en donde el fluido dentro de la parte tubular metálica tiene una presión tubular, y en donde la barrera anular comprende una unidad de expansión que tiene una primera entrada en comunicación fluida con la abertura de expansión, una segunda entrada en comunicación fluida con la primera zona y una salida en comunicación fluida con el espacio anular, y la unidad de expansión comprende un elemento movible por lo menos entre una primera posición y una segunda posición, en la primera posición la abertura de expansión está en comunicación fluida con la salida y la presión tubular es mayor que la primera presión, y en la segunda posición la salida está en comunicación fluida con la primera zona y la primera presión es mayor que la presión tubular, en donde la parte tubular metálica comprende por lo menos una segunda abertura de expansión que se conecta de manera fluida con la primera entrada. La presente invención también se relaciona con un sistema de fondo de perforación.
