Abstract
Se describen métodos y aparatos para permitir que un dispositivo de MTC de banda estrecha opere en un sistema de LTE heredado que tiene un ancho de banda de sistema más amplio. El canal de control de enlace descendente físico para un dispositivo de MTC de banda estrecha, también denominado como un canal de control de enlace descendente físico de baja complejidad (LC-PDCCH), tiene recursos de ancho de banda reducidos y puede soportar no más de 6 bloques de recursos físicos. La presente solicitud describe como asignar bloques de recursos físicos (PRB) para el LC-PDCCH y en canal compartido de enlace descendente físico (PDSCH). Los métodos de asignación de PRB descritos en la presente permiten que los dispositivos de MTC deriven la ubicación de frecuencia de los PRB de PDSCH de la ubicación de frecuencia de los PRB de LC-PDCCH y sometan a combinación suave las transmisiones de LC-PDCCH y las transmisiones de PDSCH para mejora de rendimiento.
