La presente invención proporciona un nanoobjeto de un calcegenuro de Molibdeno o wolframio que tiene: (a) un tamaño de objeto comprendido desde 0.1 y 500 nm, y (b) de 1 al 99 % en peso de moléculas de fórmula (I) con respecto al peso total del nanoobjeto, en donde: A se selecciona de entre -OH y SH; X se selecciona de entre (C1-c20) alquilo sustituido con uno o más radicales; un heteroalquilo que tiene de 2 a 20 miembros opcionalmente sustituido con uno o más radicales; y un homopolímero o copolímero que comprende una cadena polimérica; B se selecciona de entre; H, -OH, NH2, (C1-C4) alquilo halógeno, fenilo sustituido con uno o más radicales halógenos, bencilo sustituido con uno o más radicales halógeno, -C(=O)R3, -C(=O)(R7), -OC(=O)(O)R3, -C(=O)(O ), - C(=O)(O)R3, -OR3, -CH(OR3)(OR4), -C(OR3)(OR4)(R5), -C(OR3)(OR4)(OR5), -C(OR3)(OR4)(OR5)( OR6), -NR1,-NR2R3,, -C(=NR1)(R2), -C(=O)(NR1R2), -N(O( =O)(^)) (C(=O)(R2))(R3), -O(CN), -NC(=O), - ONO2, -CN, -NC, -ON(=O), -NO2, -NO, -C5H4N, -SR1, -SSR1, -S(=O)(R1), - S(=O)(=O)(R1), - S (=O)(R1) -S(=)(OH) -S(=O)(OH) -SCN, -NCS, -C(=S)(R1), -PR1R2, -P(=O)(OH)2, -OP(=O)(OH)2, -OP(=O)(OR1)(OR2), -B(OH), -B(OR1)(OR2), y -B(OR1)(R2); con la condición de que cuando B es -H o (C1-C4)alquilo entonces X es un homopolímero, copolímero o un heteroalquilo opcionalmente sustituidos con uno o más radicales anteriores que tiene de 2 a 20 miembros; ; la presente invención también proporciona un procedimiento de preparación de los nanoobjectos, su uso como aditivo para reducir el coeficiente de fricción de un material, y las composiciones que los comprende; A-X-B (I).
