Abstract
Un método para determinar el volumen de muestras de núcleo dispuestas dentro de un recipiente a presión sellado, en donde el recipiente a presión sellado contiene un fluido de llenado previo que tiene una densidad, en donde el método incluye determinar el volumen interno del recipiente a presión; determinar la densidad del fluido de llenado previo; determinar, mediante el uso de al menos una de la o las computadoras, la densidad neta de las múltiples muestras de núcleo dispuestas dentro del recipiente a presión sellado; determinar, mediante el uso de al menos una de la o las computadora, la densidad de uno o más estratos terrestres cercanos a las ubicaciones in situ respectivas de las muestras de núcleo; y calcular, mediante el uso de al menos una de la o las computadoras, el volumen de las muestras de núcleo dispuestas dentro del recipiente a presión sellado. En una modalidad no taxativa, las muestras de núcleo se sellan dentro del recipiente a presión cuando el recipiente a presión se dispone dentro de un pozo de petróleo o gas.
