Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un refrigerador de arena de moldeo que comprende una cámara de arena que tiene una entrada de aire, que en caso necesario comprende un ventilador, para la alimentación de aire al interior de la cámara de arena, y una salida de aire, que en caso necesario comprende un ventilador, para la extracción de aire de la cámara de arena. El problema en que se enfoca la invención es el de proporcionar un refrigerador de arena de moldeo mejorado en el cual la descarga de arena por vía de la salida de aire durante la operación de refrigeración se reduce de manera considerable. Este problema se resuelve proporcionando un separador por corriente de aire dinámico que puede rotar alrededor de un eje, siendo que este separador por corriente de aire se dispone de manera que sustancialmente toda la corriente de aire que abandona la cámara de arena a través de la salida de aire se guía a través del separador por corriente de aire dinámico.
