Abstract

Se proporciona un aparato de procesamiento de información que incluye circuitos electrónicos configurado para recibir señales de imagen multiplexada y señales de audio desde otro aparato de procesamiento de información utilizando un protocolo de corriente de transporte (TS) de los estándares del Grupo de Expertos de Imágenes en Movimiento (MPEG-2); y realizar el control para ocasionar la reducción de los datos contenidos en una carga útil de la corriente elemental por paquetes (PES) en un paquete PES empacado en un paquete de transporte (TS) especificado por un identificador de paquete (PID) que especifica la transmisión de los datos de audio descritos en una tabla de mapas del programa (PMT), y extraer la hora y fecha de presentación (PTS) contenida en una parte del encabezado PES del paquete PES después de solicitar al otro aparato de procesamiento de información que reduzca una cantidad de los datos de audio.
