Abstract
Un sistema para rastrear un objeto en operaciones de pozos de gas y petróleo donde se libera un objeto liberable que transporta un primer sistema de señales en el interior de un sistema de tubos asociado con un pozo. El primer sistema de señales se comunica con uno o más segundos sistemas de señales ubicados a lo la trayectoria de desplazamiento del objeto; a lo largo de la superficie de la formación; y/o a través del pozo. El primer sistema de señales y el segundo sistema de señales pueden comunicarse mediante señales de RP. El primer sistema de señales y cualquiera de los segundos sistemas de señales ubicados en la superficie se comunican mediante señales de muy baja frecuencia o a través de la tierra. Se puede utilizar un sistema de posicionamiento global en conjunto con cualquiera de los segundos sistemas de señales en la superficie para identificar la ubicación absoluta del objeto en el pozo subterráneo. El primer sistema de señales transportado por el objeto puede ser un sistema piezoeléctrico para transmitir una señal cuando el objeto experimenta una presión predeterminada.
