Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con una pieza de acero al carbón recubierta con un revestimiento de multiples capas de diferentes materiales, tales como zinc, cobre, estaño, y un revestimiento sellador a base de un producto conocido comercialmente como Solderex TB-B (r). Dicha pieza es útil para la elaboración de conductores y electrodos que reciben y llevan corriente eléctrica, los cuales a su vez pueden formar parte de un sistema de control de energía eléctrica. Asimismo, la presente invención se refiere a un método para revestir una pieza de acero al carbón, con un revestimiento de múltiples capas de diferentes materiales, en donde dicho método comprende, aplicar una capa de zinc recubriendo la superficie de un material soporte de acero al carbón, aplicar una capa de cobre sobre la capa de zinc, aplicar una capa estaño sobre la capa de cobre, y aplicar una capa selladora sobre la capa de estaño.
