Abstract
En uno de los aspectos, los métodos de obtención de imágenes se describen en este documento. En algunas modalidades, un método de obtención de imágenes descrito en el presente documento comprende disponer un fluoróforo de ultrasonido conmutable en un entorno; exponer el entorno a un haz de ultrasonido para crear una región de activación dentro del entorno; disponer el fluoróforo dentro de la región de activación para conmutar el fluoróforo desde un estado apagado hasta un estado encendido; exponer el entorno a un haz de radiación electromagnética, de esta manera excitando el fluoróforo; detectar una señal de fotoluminiscencia en una primera ubicación dentro del entorno, la señal de fotoluminiscencia comprende al menos una de una señal de fluorescencia de ultrasonido emitida por el fluoróforo y una señal de fondo; correlacionar la señal fotoluminiscente con una referencia para generar un coeficiente de correlación para la primera ubicación; y multiplicar la señal fotoluminiscente por el coeficiente de correlación a la primera ubicación para generar una señal de fotoluminiscencia modificada por la primera ubicación.
