Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos y composiciones para transformación de plástidos y regeneración o desarrollo de plantas transplastómicas; los explantes de embriones se pueden escindir de semillas, y su tejido meristemático se puede transformar directamente sin el inicio de ninguna fase de callo antes y/o después de la transformación; los presentes métodos se pueden realizar con menos etapas de cultivación relativas a los métodos convencionales, permitiendo de este modo la producción más rápida y eficientes de eventos transplastómicos objetivos en las plantas.
