Abstract
Procesamiento de agua contaminada que contiene compuestos volátiles y/o semi-volátiles por medio de evaporación rápida. El procedimiento y el sistema incluyen: sobrecalentar agua contaminada (a través de una unidad de sobrecalentamiento) para formar agua contaminada sobrecalentada que tiene una temperatura igual o superior a una temperatura umbral predeterminada; evaporar rápidamente el agua contaminada sobrecalentada (a través de una unidad de evaporación rápida) para formar vapor sobrecalentado contaminado; y oxidar térmicamente el vapor contaminado sobrecalentado (a través de una unidad de oxidación térmica) con el fin de oxidar térmicamente los compuestos volátiles contenidos en el mismo y formar productos de gas/vapor de oxidación térmica. Opcionalmente, además incluye una configuración y un funcionamiento integrados de una unidad de procesamiento de datos de información/de control de procesos, y una unidad de reciclaje de calor. Da como resultado la obtención de altos rendimientos y altas eficiencias energéticas para la eliminación de compuestos volátiles de agua contaminada. Particularmente aplicable para procesar agua contaminada con compuestos orgánicos volátiles (VOC) y/o compuestos orgánicos semi-volátiles (SVOC) y compuestos inorgánicos volátiles y/o semi-volátiles.
