Abstract

Un método para recuperación de hidrocarburos a partir de una formación subterránea incluye colocar un pozo en la formación en donde el pozo es aproximadamente horizontal en la formación; formar una o más fracturas en la formación en comunicación de fluido con el pozo; recuperar hidrocarburos de la formación a través del pozo; Inyectar un volumen de fluido que comprende más de 98% en masa de agua y más de 0,005% en masa de tensoactivo activo en la formación a través del pozo, en donde por lo menos 10% en masa de dicho volumen se inyecta a una presión de hoyo de fondo en el talón del pozo que es menor que la tensión horizontal mínima en por lo menos una porción de la sobrecarga y por lo menos 5% en masa de dicho volumen se inyecta a una presión de hoyo de fondo en el talón del pozo que es mayor que la tensión media horizontal mínima en la formación subterránea; y posteriormente recuperar hidrocarburos in situ a partir de la formación subterránea.
