Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a complejos de nocardamina (desferrioxamina E) con al menos un metal, específicamente con Zn24 o Ga3* o plata u oro, o cualquier combinación de los mismos. La invención proporciona además procedimientos para la preparación de los complejos y composiciones farmacéuticas que comprenden dichos complejos o cualquier combinación de dichos complejos, además de métodos que usan las composiciones y complejos de la invención en modular los niveles de citocinas en un sujeto y así tratar trastornos asociados a la inflamación.
