Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un intercambiador de calor (1) para el intercambio térmico indirecto entre un primer medio (4) y un segundo medio (4a), que comprende un tanque (2), el cual tiene un espacio interior (I) para recibir el primer medio de dos fases (4), un intercambiador de calor por placas (5) dispuesto en el espacio interior (I), para el intercambio térmico indirecto entre el primer medio (4) y el segundo medio (4a), siendo que el espacio interior (I) se diseña para recibir el primer medio (4) con una altura de llenado (3) tal que una fase líquida (38) del primer medio (4) forma un baño que rodea al intercambiador de calor por placas (5), y una entrada (6) por encima de la altura de llenado (3) para introducir el primer medio (4) dentro del espacio interior (1). De conformidad con la invención, en el espacio interior (1) se proporciona una unidad de separación (8) que forma un espacio de recepción (7) para separar la fase gaseosa (39) de la fase líquida (38) del primer medio (4), siendo que la unidad de separación (8) tiene al menos una abertura de recepción (9) dirigida hacia arriba para introducir dentro del espacio de recepción (7) el primer medio (4) que cae al interior del espacio interior (I), y siendo que la abertura de recepción (9) dirigida hacia arriba se dispone por encima de la altura de llenado (3), de manera que la fase gaseosa (39) del primer medio (4) que se recibe en el espacio de recepción (7) puede escapar por vía de la abertura de recepción (9) al espacio interior (I).
