Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un proceso para la manufactura de una composición de polipropileno reforzada con fibra de vidrio larga, a una velocidad de línea de por lo menos 6.7 m/s, que comprende los pasos de a) suministro por lo menos una cuerda continua de multifibra de vidrio, b) aplicación de 0.5 a 20 % en peso basado en el peso de la composición, de un agente de impregnación a dicha por lo menos una cuerda continua de multifibra, c) aplicación de una envoltura de una composición de polipropileno alrededor de la cuerda obtenida en el paso b) de modo que se forma una cuerda de multifibra envuelta de manera continua, en la que el agente de impregnación contiene por lo menos 90 % en peso de cera microcristalina, basado en el peso del agente de impregnación.
