Abstract
Un horno de arco eléctrico de corriente directa (1) para planta metalúrgica comprende un electrodo (3) que tiene una base (4) y una pluralidad de barras metálicas (5) fijas a la base (4); cada una de dichas barras metálicas (5) comprende al menos una primera porción (12) y al menos una segunda porción (13) que es axialmente adyacente a dicha primera porción (12), dicha primera porción (12) está restringida a dicha base (4) y tiene mayor conductividad térmica con respecto a dicha segunda porción (13).
