Abstract
Las dimensiones de un objeto asociado con un código legible electroópticamente son estimadas al apuntar un dispositivo portátil a una escena que contiene el objeto soportado sobre una superficie base. Un escáner del dispositivo escanea la escena sobre un campo de visión para obtener una posición de un punto de referencia del código asociado con el objeto y lee el código. Un sensor de dimensionamiento en el dispositivo captura una nube de puntos tridimensionales (3D) de puntos de datos de la escena en respuesta automática a la lectura del código.
