Abstract
En la presente se describen dispositivos catalizadores a base de metal para la eliminación de ozono, compuestos orgánicos volátiles, y otros contaminantes de una corriente de flujo de aire. Un dispositivo catalizador incluye una carcasa, un sustrato sólido dispuesto dentro de la carcasa, y una capa de catalizador dispuesta sobre el sustrato. La capa de catalizador incluye un primer catalizador a base de metal en un primer porcentaje en masa, un segundo catalizador a base de metal en un segundo porcentaje de masa, y un material de soporte impregnado con al menos uno del primer catalizador a base de metal o el segundo catalizador a base de metal. La composición de catalizador preferida es una combinación de óxido de manganeso y óxido de cobre.
