Abstract
Un dispositivo generador de aerosol (100) configurado para calentar un sustrato formador de aerosol (12), que comprende un suministro de energía (16), un calentador (14), un controlador (18) configurado para controlar la energía suministrada desde el suministro de energía al calentador y un detector de gas de combustión (20), en donde el controlador se conecta al detector de combustión y se configura para monitorear un nivel de gas de combustión en base a señales provenientes del detector de gas de combustión. El nivel de gas de combustión puede usarse por el controlador para proporcionar una indicación al usuario cuando el nivel de gas de combustión ha excedido un nivel conveniente o puede usarse en un proceso de control para regular la energía suministrada al calentador. (ver Dibujo).
