Abstract
Un método para preparar una composición de cuidado oral que contiene citrato de zinc, dicho método comprende: (a) agregar óxido de zinc a una solución de ácido cítrico en un solvente para formar una suspensión; (b) agitar la suspensión hasta obtener una solución transparente; y (c) agregar un ingrediente para cuidado oral adicional a la solución obtenida en (b). También, un método para preparar una composición para cuidado oral que contiene citrato de zinc, dicho método comprende: (a) agregar ácido cítrico a una solución de óxido de zinc en un solvente; (b) agitar la suspensión hasta obtener una solución transparente; y (c) agregar un ingrediente para cuidado oral adicional a la solución obtenida en (b). En ambos métodos, los pasos (a) y (b) se realizan a una temperatura de 10°C a 50°C y la relación molar entre óxido de zinc y ácido cítrico en el paso (a) es aproximadamente 3:2.
