Abstract
Un disco de pulido (10) para una herramienta (12) para el mecanizado fino de superficies ópticamente activas en cristales para gafas tiene un cuerpo de base (14) que presenta un eje central (M), en el que se encuentra fijada una capa intermedia (16) de un material elástico, más blanda en comparación con el cuerpo de base, sobre la que reposa un soporte de material de pulido (18). La capa intermedia presenta por lo menos dos zonas (20, 22) de diferente dureza, que se encuentran dispuestas sucesivamente en dirección del eje central del cuerpo de base. A este respecto, la zona de la capa intermedia que limita con el cuerpo de base es más blanda que la zona de la capa intermedia sobre la que reposa el soporte de material de pulido. El disco de pulido de construcción sencilla puede cubrir así un amplio abanico de curvaturas de cristales para gafas, lo que en particular permite una elevada productividad en la fabricación conforme a prescripción.
