Abstract
Un método de operación de un monitor de presión sanguínea no invasiva NIBP para medir la presión sanguínea de un sujeto, el monitor NIBP comprende un manguito, un sensor de presión que mide la presión en el manguito y que da salida a una señal de presión que representa la presión en el manguito y un sensor de parámetro fisiológico, el método que comprende obtener una primera medición de la frecuencia del pulso o el ritmo cardiaco del sujeto durante el inflado del manguito, la primera medición es obtenida de la señal de presión; obtener una segunda medición de la frecuencia de pulso o el ritmo cardiaco del sujeto durante el inflado del manguito, la segunda medición es obtenida del sensor de parámetro fisiológico; comparar la primera medición y la segunda medición; y valorar la confiabilidad de una medición de presión sanguínea obtenida por el monitor NIBP durante el inflado del manguito en función del resultado de la etapa de comparación.
