Abstract

Las modalidades ilustrativas que aquí se presentan proporcionan un medio de notificar a un servidor de aplicaciones (105) de cuando un dispositivo inalámbrico (101) es accesible, es decir, capaz de recibir datos de enlace descendente. Por lo tanto, al saber cuándo es accesible el dispositivo móvil, el servidor de aplicaciones puede evitar el envío de solicitud de comunicación al dispositivo inalámbrico cuando el dispositivo no está disponible.
