Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una resina de poliéster que tiene una estructura lineal o ramificada y libre de ácidos grasos insaturados, la cual está hidroxilada o carboxilada y caracterizada porque se hace a partir de: a) un componente ácido que comprende: a1) al menos un poliácido o anhídrido carboxílico de C4 a C6, a2) al menos un poliácido o anhídrido carboxílico de C5 a C54, a3) opcionalmente, al menos un monoácido saturado de C2 a C22, b) un componente de alcohol que comprende: b1) al menos un poliol de base biológica que tiene una funcionalidad de al menos 2, y al menos uno de los siguientes dos polioles b2) o b3); b2) al menos un poliol diferente de b1) que tiene una funcionalidad de al menos 2, b3) al menos un poliol diferente de b1) y b2) que tiene una funcionalidad de al menos 3. La resina es más particularmente 100 % de base biológica. La invención también se refiere a una solución de resina y una composición de recubrimiento que comprende la resina y al uso de la misma en recubrimientos que tienen una resistencia elevada y hecha a partir de materias primas renovables.
