Abstract
Un motor de combustión interna incluye un inyector de puerto que inyecta combustible dentro de un puerto de admisión y un inyector de inyección directa que inyecta combustible directamente dentro de una cámara de combustión. Cuando el motor de combustión interna está en una condición de baja carga mientras requiere inyección de combustible, un controlador detiene la inyección de combustible a través del inyector de puerto de manera que una cantidad completa de inyección de combustible requerida se inyecta a través del inyector de inyección directa. Como un resultado de este procesamiento, la presión del combustible del inyector de inyección directa se reduce rápidamente en la condición de baja carga.
