Abstract
Los métodos para incrementar la característica apetecible de extractos animales líquidos comprenden hidrolizar un sustrato; tal como una víscera animal, y después ajustar el pH del hidrolizado al menos a 8.0, preferentemente, al menos 8.5, y más preferentemente, al menos 9.5. El hidrolizado resultante puede añadirse a una composición alimenticia para obtener un producto alimenticio para mascotas, tal como un producto alimenticio seco para mascotas.
